Location

My office is located at 1533 Linden St. Des Moines, IA 50309. You can access Linden St off of Ingersoll Ave.

There is free parking along the side and back of the building. You can also park on Linden St. My office is accessible by bus.

My office is located in a two-story brick building. The building has two front entrances both of which face Linden St. The entrance to my office has signage for Encourage Joy Therapy on the side windows.

I share office space with other mental health providers in suite 201. We have a shared waiting space in suite 101B, which is off to the left when you enter the front door. There are gender neutral bathrooms on both floors of the building.

Cost/Insurance

Private pay rates for sessions are $185 for the initial appointment and $165 per session after that.

I am an in network provider with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Health Partners Insurance, which means that I will bill your insurance for our sessions. You are responsible for the cost of any copayments, coinsurance, or deductible at the time of the session. You can contact your insurance provider to get an idea of what your out of pocket cost will be for therapy.

If you would like to use your insurance that I am not an in network provider with you will be responsible for private pay rates at the time of appointment. I will then provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance company to be reimbursed for the cost. Contact your insurance provider to ask about out of network reimbursement coverage and how you can submit a superbill, which I will provide to you.

I accept all major credit cards including HSA cards for payment of services.
