Therapy Services
Why Therapy
You have been going through some hard things. Maybe you have lost someone who you loved dearly, moved away from your family, or are supporting family or friends who are working through their own mental or physical health needs. You are also still figuring out life as an adult, whether that involves college, starting your career or starting your own business.
Even when you are with the people you love you feel disconnected and not fully present. Everything happening in your life and in the world feels overwhelming and you struggle to find hope for things to be different. All of your worries, fears, and stress are living in your body. You may experience headaches and stomach aches. You struggle to get good sleep as your mind is constantly going. You’ve been told you need to just stop worrying or stop stressing so much, or the worst one—just relax!
Maybe you’ve spent time trying to figure this all out yourself. Maybe you’ve tried all the things that people suggest. Maybe your best efforts to keep it all together has impacted you at work and school as you struggle to focus, concentrate, and feel motivated to get done what you know you need to.
You know you are ready to get some support, but you may be nervous about what therapy will look like or how it could help you. Therapy can feel really weird, check out my about me page to learn more.
